Gronc's Art

I love it.

I would agree that it has a Dolcett quality to it, but without the implied death that so many of them have.  As much as I enjoyed the extreme bondage, it was a turnoff at the same time.  Gronc's work however, takes liberties with the human anatomy but doesn't make you think of death.  In fact, most of the expressions don't imply very much pain either.

I really don't understand some of the negative reactions here! Isn't BDSM all about fantasy? I woould expect that people interested in BDSM used their fantasy more then the general population! The nice thing of ART, is the ability to draw fantasies, and not just to show the reality. Photos are better for that purpose..

The IDEA of being bound by a chain running through me is exciting. That I do realize that this wouldn't be possible in reality, doesn't change that. It's fantasy, no one will do this in real life, but fantasizing has it's own value here..

And my compliments to Gronc, the artwork is very good!

You probably couldn't pass a chain through a person, but I wonder if it could be done with something like a slim aircraft cable.  If you did that, and ultimately had it coming out both ends, you'd have like 30 feet or so wound around inside the body.  What would happen if somehow that cable was pulled violently taut?  I'm guessing it would pretty much pulp the innards of the person it was inside.  I bet that would hurt.  A lot.  That's the kind of gruesome death that might show up in a horror movie, like Saw.

Hey, I don't think that anybody in this thread is saying "I would never look at any BDSM artwork that isn't 'real'."

Speaking for myself, that's why I mentioned Star Trek. It's not real, I like it anyway. Other people don't. So what?

All I'm saying is "it's not me". I like art where I wish I was the 'victim'. These drawings don't have that effect on me.

I agree with the person who compared them to Dolcet. A lot of his work shows people being tortured to death. And that really isn't what I'm into. :)

I'm not even saying that I think the art is bad. Again, I agree with the folks comparing it to Dolcett. Lots of folks consider that work to be a classic. I'm just not one of them.

I think that this is so disturbing to some is that this is so invasive. It's the ultimate penetration. We have seen fantasy artwork with the use of massive dildos and butt plugs being placed in subjects, but it was an object from the outside going in. This is a total, through and through penetration, and I got a shudder just thinking about it.

Of course, the passive looks on the faces of the victims takes some edge off, but I have to admit that this is a quality work.

I too find this work a little disturbing, probably for the same reason a 'RubberH'.
Although it is all total fantasy, I think the problem is that is totaly impossible in reality, yet there it is depicted in excellent and creative drawings!

Now for a challenge
I saw apicture, in some blog or other, of a damsel in obvious distress trying to stop a short lenght of chain from falling out of her cunt.

Could some clever photographer amongst us try to create
a similar Gronc, using two 'choker' chains about 2foot/70cm long, one coming from the models mouth and the other from her anus? The chains are not as thick as Gronc's but would be easily insertable/removable (and fun to arrange too)
