I've never been locked up but have fantasized about it for years. I wanted to get one after turning 18, but I just put it on the backburner for a while. Now I'm almost 20 and am looking to finally buy a device. I'm in college, so I don't have hundreds to spend on the really good, fitted metal devices. In fact, I'm looking for the cheapest thing I can get that is comfortable and secure. Can anyone make any good recommendations of a device and where I can buy it from?

The standard "first-timer" device is the CB6000. It can be had directly from www.cb-6000.com. It has a few variations, like the Curve if you're long when flaccid, or the CB6000S if you're real short when flaccid.

It is possible to find cheaper knockoffs, but they are usually illegal copies and can have manufacturing flaws.

Thanks for the advice! I'm mostly looking for something to spend around a week or two at a time in. If I get serious with it, I might just splurge for one of those metal fitted ones. Does anyone have experience with those? Which is typically regarded as the best?
