Hi,

I noticed that the last story update is nearly a month ago. I don't want to say "hurry up" or something like that, I'm just wondering.

I hope all is right..? If the admins are on vacation, please enjoy... :D

Greetings

Its been unfortunately slow around here. I try to post when I can, but it seems like traffic is low.

Give it time. There have been really quiet times before and it's come back.

If regular visitors don't post then what incentive do new visitors have to join in and post?
There are new members joining all the time, most are probably curious but shy about breaking the ice.

Some are searchbots but most of the time there seems to be a high number of unregistered users here, so it IS getting a lot of views.

Possibly many are using this forum as an encyclopedia since there is a massive amount of information to be found by searching, and they may be hesitant to post in an old thread. I understand most don't like to necro old threads especially if a forum is active with many new posts, but since it's rather slow for now- why not encourage members to post to any thread, no matter how old? That may get things rolling again.

Facebook took a lot of traffic from forums in general. My 2 automotive forums are completely dead now. Fet probably took some from here.

Honestly, I love forums! I think its a better format to discuss interests. I hope it swings back in popularity. Fet is cool and all too, but its such a giant monster that it loses some personality, I think.

Kink stuff always has a bunch of voyeurs, and that's cool too ;) I do a lot of leather work, but when I'm the only one posting it feels like I'm overrunning the place with my interests so I pull back a little.

If you look at the views per thread, they tend to be extremely high. People are coming, just not posting.

Register up and post. We dont bite! Except for those of us who definitely do bite.
