I received this message about the plaza: "Thank you for all your work and everthing that you do to make this site enjoyable.Since your last update, the bound stories, Monica's Tales and galleries have not been available.  All other areas seem fine and unaffected.   Thought you should know in case others are having the same problems." Has anyone else noticed a problem with the site? Especially with the pornparks server part of the site. I wrote back with this suggestion:Have just checked and everything seems to be working fine this end. http://fetish.pornparks.com/boundstorie ... ries.htmlI wonder if theirs some setting on your computer that's filtering. Have you tried the other galleries? If you cannot see these but can still see the rest of the site, then that may be the cause. The main part of the plaza is located under grometsplaza.net but the bondage stories and galleries are located on the pornparks one, either under fetish or adult. If the problem continues, there are a couple of good tech's over on the plaza, I'll bring this up over there anyway because whilst you've taken the time to write to let me know, others will just give up and not revisit. and received the following reply:"I have norton firewall, anti-virus, spy-sweeper and ad-aware.  Last night I disabled all and still was not able to view.  I received a connection refused message back from your server.           This morning I used the hotlink in your message and received "Page could not be displayed".            Thank you for your response and I'll keep fiddling around with the setting to see if I did accidently change something." Does anyone have any suggestions?

Works for me, in both Firefox and IE.  It might be worthwhile asking what browser, ISP and Operating system they are using.Assuming it is XP running IE, I would suggest they try installing Firefox and giving that a go.  If it works, they are most likely clogged with spyware (or some other "tools") that is blocking the site.  Also, it could be a the hosts file.  I think the chances of this happening are probably 1 in 100,000 but it does have the same symptoms.  In the following folder:c:\windows\system32\drivers\etcThere is a file called "hosts."  Open the file with notepad.  If it is filled with stuff, mainly anything referencing pornparks, that could be it.  To fix, rename the file to "hosts.bak".  No need to reboot.FireFoxFire foxFire-foxFireboxFairfaxEdit...Ignore allAdd to dictionaryFireFoxFire foxFire-foxFireboxFairfaxEdit...Ignore allAdd to dictionaryspy warespy-warepaywaresparesparerEdit...Ignore allAdd to dictionaryreferencingrefreezingrefereeingreferringreverencingEdit...Revert to "referecing"porn parksporn-parksunpackspinkspinpricksEdit...Ignore allAdd to dictionary(No suggestions)Edit...Ignore allAdd to dictionary

Pokes Gromet, "Well, as to the Monica one, I did point that out in my last
update to my Monica's Justice thread. I think it was via the author's link that
you couldn't get to the stories, most came up 404. They do seem to work
now, but Richard's section is out of place alphabetically, and considering the
number of stories he's contributed, his section looks a bit bare. As to
galleries, never really noticed, they're not my focus here. I've also heard of a
similar problem with IE something to do with the cache IIRC (I'm on a Mac,
and we don't have IE)."

Seems the problem is spreading, how many others?
To quote from your posting in the forum: "Since your last update, the bound stories, Monica'sTales and galleries have not been available.  Allother areas seem fine and unaffected. Thought you should know in case others are having thesame problems." I have the same problem. Everything, that has"pornparks" in it is blocked. I run "Bitdefender " andXP and haven't so far experienced any problems insurfing "strange sites". Thought you should know. BTW my computer is located inGermany. I used Netscape IE and Firefox, same result "pageunavailable" Hope you can help me, your site is really fabulous Sincerely Jan
For anyone having problems, here is what I would ask:What browser do they run?  (IE/Firefox/Opera/etc)If Firefox, do they run any extensions?  Have they tried with IE?What OS do they run?  (WinXP/Win98/MacOSX/etcIt's a shot in the dark, but there are some extensions for Firefox that will mask the client header information making you more 'anonymous'.  The problem is that it it make it look like you are hotlinking images.  I had to remove the plug-in because I was having trouble on a number of sites.

GU:  I'm the one that sent the message to Gromet.  I havetried IE, Navigator 7.0, and Firefox, with the same results.  I'musing Win XP.  Gromet has sent me several suggestions, and we'rehaving a running discussion.  I can't see the new boundladiessite, either.

Well, belive it or not, that actually is good news in a way.  Since it occurs (with the same results I assume) with multiple browsers, the problem is more general and something that, in this case, blocks network traffic.  Here is what I need to know next, what exactly do you see when trying to load the page, anything at all?  Does it eventually error out?  Or does it simply load half the page and stop?  If at all possible, make a screenshot (Alt-PrintScreen) and paste it into an email to me.  gaggedutopia [@] utopiastories.com  (Firefox prefered, then IE).Here is something else you can try.  Go to http://anonymouse.org and try browsing Gromet's site.  If the images work, there is definatly something installed on your computer blocking certain IPs of pornparks.com.

I tried as an experiment setting up part of the gallery on the grometsplaza.net server instead of the adult.pornparks one and he can see all of the images. I believe that he may have some filtering software on his computer or on his ISP.He can the images on grometsplaza.net and on PD's website, the problem only occurs when he looks at the pornparks address. Thanks for your help GU.

If anyone else uses McAfee Security, please note.  I have foundthe problem with my accessing the Packed Gallery.  It is in theMaAfee Privacy Protector.  When I turn it off, everything isfine.  I still can't get it to accept Pronparks while open, though, but that's my problem, not your's (I hope). Thanks to Gromet and Gagged Utopia for their help.  It's good toknow that we have such helpful people, even in high places!

Glad you got it working slb!On a side note to anyone else having these types of issues, more andmore applications are blocking content from 'free' hosts to cut down onthe spamming and spread of viruses.  In some rare cases, some haveblocked a site because of past or suspected child pornography.  Verify the problem with multiple browsers.  If it only happens inone, there is problem something set wrong or the cache needs to becleared.  If it happens with multiple browsers, it is probablysomething similar to the issue described above.
