Kinky books !

Unread post by Jacketbound »

We have just launched a new online book store - selling printed books and eBooks with a BDSM and fetish nature.

Although most of the books have a gay theme at the moment, new books are being added weekly

have a look over at

www.boundeditions.com

thanks
:)

I like that you're offering the books in EPUB format, but I couldn't see any mention of DRM, or otherwise.
I may have missed it, as I'm on my phone at the minute...
Is there any?

Nice play on words, by the way...
Make me. Please.

Re: Kinky books ! - also mainstream ones?

Do you include any "mainstream" books with a definite bondage theme? That would be of interest to me. There aren't many such, but you do occasionally come across them - like the incredible, intense, agonizing "Let's Go Play at the Adams'", by Mendal W. Johnson. I've mentioned it a couple of times before on this site - it's one of those stories no-one who ever read it ever forgets, but it is extremely controversial, and you seem to either hate it with a vengeance, or love it.
I guess Stephen King's "Gerald's Game" would fit into this category, also - and I suppose "Fifty Shades of Grey" too, although I haven't read that, and don't at this stage have any particular plan to do so. More mainstream stories with a bondage theme tend to interest me more than explicitly fetish-oriented books.

Regards, Michael.

We offer ebooks with no DRM - as we thought this was too restrictive to many people. I guess we do run the risk of having books passed around but piracy happens in every part of life, so if we keep the price of the ebooks down to a sensible price, hopefully people will buy them rather than pass them on.

With regards to books that already exist, this is not an area we are looking at. We are specialising in books (both print and ebooks) that exist nowhere else. First time authors in book format. You can buy the other books elsewhere - where we are different is you can only buy these authors from us.

We are expanding out all the time and signing up new authors - and are relaunching our website in February 2013 with many more books and storycodes, so you can find the kind of tales you like more easily. We are also adding books aimed at the f/m, m/f markets and for people who love their bondage and fetish stories..

Keep watching

Kinky books !

Unread post by Jacketbound »

Hi all
Some of the stories on this site are very well written - and should be out there for many more people to enjoy

Recently I set up a new online book shop - selling books both printed and ePubs. All are to the highest standards and the printed books look and feel exactly the same as the fiction books you buy at any good bookshop

If you have not already had a look - have a browse at

www.boundeditions.com

But that's not the main reason for the post.

I need new authors who would like to see their work sold. So this is a request for any author who is interested to get in touch with me at contact@boundeditions.com.

Who knows where it may lead.

Interesting site - I like the design and the art cover on your books. :ugeek: Do you guys plan on selling your e-books on amazon and barnesandnoble as well? I know there's a way to transfer an epub file to an e-book reader, but it's a bit too much trouble... (I know, I know - I'm lazy. )

Doing that would also allow users to post their reviews - which, in turn, would generate more traffic.

We already have a deal in place to sell our books on Amazon - though it takes 6 to 8 weeks for the books to filter through to their databases.I know - long time !

The ePubs can be read on any computer with free software - easily available - or you can read them on your ipad or iphone.

We are trying very hard to satisfy all readers with various formats etc - and the ePubs are selling very well compared to print copies - which I guess is right in this day and age.

But we are always looking for new authors - so any budding writers out there - please get in touch to see if you can get your book on sale.

That's very strange. I assume you're talking about physical books because it usually takes less than 72 hours for Amazon to publish your e-books once you submit them. (Speaking from personal experience here.)

You are correct - I am talking about printed books. We have done a deal so the books we have can be found on Amazon worldwide - the ePubs we are happy with - but having a larger distribution deal for printed books is a bonus.
