Butthe behavior your describing makes me thing that your connection istiming out or that you've some Spyware kicking around.
It must be my IE settings but I don't know where...
Not that it will solve your problems, but Firefox is really theanswer. I resisted the switch for 3 months, forcing myself to useit, but now I can't live with out it. It fixed a lot of strangeissues I had, and when I got used to "tabbed" browsing, I was able tosurf porn at twice the speed! http://www.firefox.com

RE: Gromet’s Plaza Pics
Well, I have downloaded Firefox and it's no better, Still can't see all the pics... I'm on broadband so it's not a connection speed issue. Oh well, thanks for your help folks...
RE: Gromet’s Plaza Pics
I was having the same problem. I am using Norton Internet Security, and I found that I had to disable it altogether when I wanted to view the pics. There is probably a way to set it up to allow you to view the pics on the site...but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. lol. So I just disable it for a while when I'm checking out the galleries.
You just have to remember to turn the security back ON before moving to another site. It's amazing how many viruses and/or spyware programs you can pick up while surfing the web.

Norton's Ad Blocking features were among the most annoying I've everdealt with. They routinely blocked links and pictures justbecause "ad" appeared somewhere in the URL.The way to fix it? Use Firefox, grab a copy of the Adblockextension for it so you can stop the ads you don't want to see, andturn off Norton's pathetic ad blocking. Then when it's time to renew your AV/Firewall subscription, dump Nortonfor Trend Micro or ZoneLabs. They both work better and quicker.

Pleasewrap is right. The only thing I would add would be to get a linksys (or similar)broadband router if you have cable/dsl connection at home, even if youonly plan on running one computer. It will provide your computerwith a better firewall then any software product ever could and costsabout the same ($40 /wout wireless). If you are on dialup, software is your best bet unfortunatly .
RE: Gromet’s Plaza Pics
I found the way to solve this is simply turn off the pop up blocker. for my problem when I updated Norton a while back. Hope the advice you are offered helps because it is a great collection of pics. cagedsgt

I keep add blocker on.However by adding http://adult.pornparks.com to the list of trusted computers it allows the pop-ups through.I had to do the same for ebay and some others.FB

It will do a great job of protecting you from outsiders that find yourIP address and try to get to your machine, but it won't do a thingagainst malicious code that's on a web page you visit or otherconnection that your computer initiates. If you pick up a trojanor encounter an exploit that causes your system to initiate thecommunications, they won't do a thing to protect you.I use a broadband router myself, but I wouldn't think of eliminating my personal firewall.

When I refer to removing a firewall, I am saying ditchthe tcp/udp port monitoring software, the linksys will always do better(unless you open up ports obviously). Firefox and a goodantivirus client should be all the software you need (and a littlecommon sense ).
RE: Gromet’s Plaza Pics
as for security, you can always try firefox + addblock plugin + the noscript plugin. together this is quite a secure seemingpackage. of course, you still want a software firewall to helptrap any odd programs that try to dial out.my approach is to keep everything (java, flash, scripts, etc) turnedoff at all sites until i need to turn it on. it makes the webfaster, even on broadband, cuts out all the useless stuff i dont want, and helps to protect me from nasty things.
