Re: Vacuum Bed Scenarios
Wet and dry vacs will not overheat because they have a separate fan to cool the motor.. With most vacbeds you don't want or need a vac running at full speed all the time. If the bed is fairly leak tight and you have a oneway valve in the vac line then you only need to run the vac in occasional short...

I prefer the entry to be via a rolled up end rather than a zip but just try it.

Re: Question's about diy Vacuum bed's
I found my notes from 10 years ago. Formatting may have suffered in copy/paste. I first tried a vacbed in 2010, loved it, and decided to make my own. I’ve written about the project on IC before but it’s time to do an update and bring all the bits together in one place. The new DIY group seems a good...

Re: Question's about diy Vacuum bed's
I've made my own vacbed from PVC sheeting. Glueing done with plumber's solvent weld. A mattress bag would be easier. Most difficult part was making a workable and durable breathing hole. Need to reinforce with extra layer(s) of PVC. The experience is different to a latex vacbed. Still great but in a...

Re: Quiet vacuum solution for vacuum bed?
Speed controller on the vac. You shouldn't need full power to maintain the vacuum. Some beds are sold with a one-way valve and a claim that you can switch off the vac. Obviously this depends on how well your breathing arrangments seal to your face. Using a speed controller also reduces heat buildup ...

I'm an occasional latex wearer and am fairly hairy. I chlorinated my latex and had no problems. It's easy enough to to DIY chlorination, otherwise Catalyst Latex offer it as a service. https://www.catalystlatex.com/

Re: Bondage Session with a Dominatrix
I have never wanted a session with a pro domme but I have met some at BDSM events. As in all activities there are the good, the bad and the hopeless. To which you can add that some are hazardous. How to find out? All I can suggest is to join Fetlife and get to know people there. Ideally by going to ...

Re: Searching for a longer spreader bar.
Length of wooden dowel or even broomstick and a couple of screw eyes. Easy.
Getting minimum wriggle room is harder. Depends on how your cuffs can be attached to the eyes. Small padlocks will give a tight binding than carabiners or snap hooks.

Re: My girlfriend turned out to be a mistress
Some of you may have seen the documentary "Fetishes" by Nick Broomfield. This is shot in a high end professional dungeon in New York. Both the ladies and their clients say a lot of interesting things and it's well worth watcihng. The bit that's relevant here is where one of the mistresses ...

Re: Quick question about Vivishine
From what I've read elsewhere (on Fetlife) Vivishine and chlorination aren't a good mix. You lose the benefits of chlorination unless you can somehow only vivishine the outside only. If you want a really shiny appearance you're probably better off just polishing the outside with some kind of silicon...

Re: My girlfriend turned out to be a mistress
When you're in a "difficult" profession it may be wise not to tell all immediately. Because you want to be judged for who you are rather than any labels that may be attached. Many years ago, when you replied using pen and paper to newspaper dating ads, I made contact with a woman. I won't ...

Just a thought: electro magnets are current-driven devices. Although a higher voltage battery might push more current through the magnet, have you considered DC2DC conversion or using an inverter and a transformer to raise the current? It might make the magnets stronger. All electromagnets are inde...

Re: Vacbed ideas
Yes, vacbeds are great fun. Seems like you had a good experience with vacbed-direct.com and their prices seem reasonable. But I'd be a bit concerned about dealing with them. They are VERY shy about disclosing any details about themselves. Not even which country they're in. No contact details. A WHOI...

Re: Storage Bags (with images now)
  At least they tried. The spelling is pretty good, but the odd syntax could be the result of the Google or Bing translator. The best example of anguished English that I've ever seen was for a little gadget called "Guide Nails" which probably could have doubled up as a nipple cl...

There are also the fetish fairs LAM in London and BBB in Birmingham. Though I've not seen much by way of bondage furniture. Mostly clothing but certainly some stalls with restraints.

This may be a daft question but I haven't been able to find this sort of ultra large storage bag in the UK. Any ideas for a UK or EU supplier?
