Perhaps simoxp43 can use Darby cuffs for overnight security without injury.

What brand of modern handcuffs do you use? Can your wrist rotate within the cuff easily?
I am thinking that when you are awake, you avoid rotating your wrist against the cuff where it has resistance but don’t avoid this when you are asleep.
Many of the manufacturers make a slightly larger size set of handcuffs like the S&W Model 1.

I have a pair of Clejoso model 11 cuffs which are oval and pretty much prevent any wrist rotation, I have only ever managed to free them from behind my back once without help.

I don't remember the brand because we bought them last year and I am not too expert about them.
We don't use them much, only in some situations: I can rotate my hands without problems, at night I think that I have trube wearing them because they are thick and this creates pain if I remain in positions where the hands are "crushed".

If the handcuffs are very thick and crush your hands, it doesn’t sound like you have modern police style handcuffs.

Those don't look very "home made" ... more like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002611272355.html ... but twice the price plus shipping ...

That's one of my pet hates about Etsy. it's flooded with people reselling stuff you can get on AliExpress. It makes finding unique and different products more difficult than it should be. Don't get me wrong; the cheap Chinese products definitely have their place (and I buy a lot), but if I want them I can use AliExpress and get them from closer to the source for much less money. I want Etsy for the stuff I can't get from China, and these "resellers" selling the same thing for huge markups make those things much harder to find.

Something pretty similar can be found on eBay for a pretty good price.

I have bought a couple sets when the price was lower a few years back. The lock sets can also be bought separately if you have both leg irons and handcuffs and want the keys to match.

They also don't look exactly handmade to me but I wanted to trust the store description...let's see as soon as they arrive.

I also don't like Etsy too much but unfortunately on ebay I often find items that are not shipped to Italy or have a very high cost.
Aliexpress is good but I had bad experiences with shipping, long waiting times and in the end I received a refund because I didn't receive anything.

I use AliExpress a lot - literally hundreds of orders. To be honest, I've found it more reliable than eBay - if something doesn't turn up you do get the refund, and if you take the "AliExpress Standard Shipping" option, you can usually get refunds early (couple of weeks) if the item doesn't show up in the tracking after the seller says it's "sent". (I've had a few sellers put in fake tracking numbers to avoid having the order automatically closed. Most are good about messaging you if an order can't be fulfilled, offering alternatives or cancellation, but there are inevitably some who think they might be able to solve their supply chain problems by making the customer wait.)

That's shipping to NZ - I can't speak for Italy, obviously, but I've generally found that most things get here in around two weeks, and Ali is good about giving you shipping options and costs right up front. I don't think I've had anything genuinely go missing in transit - not for a long time, anyway.

Regardless of the cost, these are still a nice looking set of toys. Enjoy them!

We received them yesterday and they actually seem to be handmade as they are not perfect: they are well made, due to some games we are playing we have tried them only for a few minutes but I have to say that they wear well even if they don't allow you to completely rotate your wrist. We will try them better in the next few days.

Unfortunately I think it's a general problem with Europe... also for other items and speaking with friends on Aliexpress the average time is 2/3 months for delivery in Italy. They almost always refund you, but if I buy something it's because I would like to have it :D

One of the problems might be export or import restrictions. China has none but the EU and USA treat these toys like munitions or military hardware and permits are needed for export. In NZ this is probably not an issue.

About a week ago, my Jailer had me lay down next to her and cuffed my hands behind my back with a pair of antique Hiatt Darbies. She massaged my calf muscles every once in a while but would not let me get up. For about an hour and a half I had a very up close and personal view of her feet and soles. Laying down with hands cuffed in back isn’t comfortable but this was still a reasonably enjoyable way to spend time with my Beautiful Jailer.

Definitely in back. Even better if they are attached to a waist chain.

I find I need a Jailer to enforce handcuffs in back for any length of time.
I am even starting to find that handcuffs in front get boring pretty quickly.
I am now looking for a set of long chain handcuffs to see how that works. The Darby and shackle types tend to be longer and they don’t seem to bother me.
Dungeon Delights standard length cuffs seem about right for long term wear. It seems like those people actually have an understanding of their product use for play unlike the people in China.
