That is something to think about with women's clothes. They are thinner material and looser so make a great alternative when it gets hot. At the moment I am in a male T shirt and I'm sweating buckets. I've changed to a skirt as my crotch is hot and sticky. I was wearing shorts.
When it gets cold, a nice hobble skirt is practical. What is your thoughts?

Re: Weather wear.
I would never call a hobble skirt practical, but they sure are fun! I have a leather one that is mid-calf length and has four snaps on a back split that can be opened or closed, depending on how much hobbling I want. And a cheap (what's that shiny plastic stuff like imitation patent leather?) ankle length one that only allows about a 9" or 10" stride. I'll take some pix and post them on my Deviantart page one of these days.
